Transition yourself from the academic year into summer by attending
the annual Online Teaching Conference in beautiful Oceanside, CA
where you'll be close to wonderful beaches and the many attractions
of San Diego County. Meet and exchange ideas with other faculty,
administrators, and staff. You'll learn from the experts, catch
up on technical innovations, and pick up tips to maintain/improve
quality. This year's conference is again offered in a "hybrid" format
- you can participate in three ways: personally in Oceanside, virtually
via live webcasts, or asynchronously by downloading archives from
CCC Confer. The choice is yours!
This two day event takes a holistic approach to online education,
including not only faculty, but all the support staff and administration
for truly successful online education. Consequently, this conference
is intended for faculty, staff, and administrators engaged in online
education and/or the delivery of online services (student, faculty,
library, and technical), as well as, those considering becoming
involved. Are you interested in improving online teaching or services?
Come join your colleagues from all over the state of California
to exchange ideas and experiences.

Four distinct generations, from the tech-savvy to the technology-challenged,
are enrolled in higher education today. Are we as educators in tune
with their wants and needs? In an era where students can text message
their registrations, how many “bells and whistles” should we offer
them? And how do we manage to track the trends? This presentation
will explore possibilities and innovative solutions for the digital
age.
