Driving Directions:

Driving directions from the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (Trip is approximately 78 miles and takes 1 hour and 20 minutes)

Take US-101 south approximately 46 miles towards Gilroy and exit on CA-156 West towards Monterey. After 6 miles merge onto CA-1 south. Travel about 13 miles and take the exit towards Monterey. Keep left at the fork, follow the signs for Fisherman’s Wharf/Peninsula College and merge on Fremont Street. You’ll have to make a u-turn at Mesa Road back to 980 Fremont St.

Head northwest on Fred Kane Drive. Turn left to stay on Fred Kane. Continue on Olmsted Road and turn right at Monterey Salinas HWY. Take the ramp onto CA-1 S/CA-68 W. Take the exit toward Monterey. Keep left at the fork and follow signs for Fisherman’s Wharf/Peninsula College and merge onto Fremont Street. Make the u-turn at Mesa Road back to 980 Fremont Street.

Head northeast on Abrego Street toward Fremont Street. Turn right at Fremont Street and left at Monterey Peninsula College.

MPC security will honor your home campus staff parking permit in staff parking lots only. Staff lots are J, D and E. Staff parking lot J on the north end of campus is closest to the Library Tech Center. If needed, parking passes will be available during registration.
