Receiving Continuing Education Credit for the Summer Institutes
You may receive three continuing education units from San Jose State University for participating in the Institute at an additional cost of $180. These credits are post-baccalaureate, professional development units that are not part of a degree program, but are designed in collaboration with school districts to meet specific staff development needs. You should seek approval of appropriate district college officials before enrolling in these courses to satisfy any degree, state credential, or local school district requirements. SJSU has a no refund policy when purchasing continuing education units.
To receive credit, follow these steps:
- Download the registration form for your workshop below and locate the course code. Register for the course through San Jose State University by calling 408-924-2735. For paper registrations, download the SJSU Registration application and follow fax or mailing instructions. SJSU has a no refund policy when purchasing continuing education units.
- Complete a final project and submit it to the facilitator four weeks after course completion.
